If a crack is longer than 1 inch, or has damage on both sides of the windshield, replacement is typically recommended over repair. Chips larger than a loonie, or damage with multiple cracks radiating from one point, also usually require a full replacement. Our technicians will assess your windshield and give you an honest recommendation.
Most windshield replacements take 2 to 4 hours. Once done, you can drive like the windshield has always been there. Same-day service is available in most cases — call us to confirm availability.
Yes. We use OEM-quality glass that meets or exceeds the original manufacturer's specifications. All replacements include proper calibration of any ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) sensors if your vehicle is equipped, so your lane departure warnings and collision alerts continue to function correctly.

Most chips smaller than a loonie (about 1 inch in diameter) can be repaired successfully, as long as they are not in the driver's direct line of vision and haven't spread into a crack. Repair is faster, less expensive, and preserves your original factory seal. If you're unsure, bring your vehicle in — we'll tell you honestly which option is right.
Chip repairs typically take 20 to 30 minutes. The resin is injected into the damaged area, cured with UV light, and polished smooth. Your windshield is ready to drive immediately after the repair is complete.
Repair significantly reduces the visibility of the damage and stops it from spreading. In most cases the repaired area is barely noticeable. A full replacement will always produce a perfectly clear result, but repair is often the right first step for minor damage.
Repair is almost always worth doing if the damage qualifies. It costs less, takes less time, and prevents a small chip from spreading into a crack that requires full replacement. We'll assess your damage and recommend the most practical and cost-effective option.

Insurance Claims & Direct Billing
```
✓ Direct billing available
Yes. We direct-bill most major insurance providers so you don't have to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement. Bring your insurance information when you come in and we'll handle the billing and claim process on your behalf. We also discount your deductible by $250.
In Ontario, windshield repair and replacement is typically covered under the comprehensive portion of your auto insurance policy. Many policies cover chip repair at no cost to you with zero deductible. Replacement may be subject to your deductible depending on your policy. We recommend calling your insurer to confirm your coverage before your appointment — or call us and we will deal with your insurance company for you.
A glass-only claim under your comprehensive coverage does not affect your insurance premium in Ontario. It is considered a not-at-fault claim.
Bring your insurance policy number, the name of your insurance provider, and your vehicle registration. We'll take care of contacting your insurer and processing the claim directly. The process is straightforward and we'll walk you through it. We will also ask you for your plate number, mileage, and date of loss.
We work with all major insurance providers operating in Ontario, including Intact, Aviva, Economical, Belairdirect, Co-operators, CAA, Desjardins, Wawanesa, and more. We also work with the mutual insurance companies that serve Oxford County — including North Blenheim Mutual Insurance, South Easthope Mutual Insurance, Heartland Mutual (formerly Oxford Mutual), and Nova Mutual Insurance. If you're unsure whether we work with your provider, just call us — in most cases we can accommodate you.
Several reputable local brokers serve Oxford County and can help you understand your glass coverage before or after a claim. These include McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers (Ingersoll), Jamieson-Hilts Insurance Brokers (Woodstock), BrokerLink (Woodstock), Regal Insurance (Woodstock), Cowan Insurance Group (Woodstock), and Co-operators (Woodstock and Ingersoll). Any of these brokers can clarify your deductible, confirm your comprehensive coverage, and advise whether a glass claim will affect your premium.
