ADAS Calibration
Most new and newer vehicles in Canada are equipped with some kind of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) feature. These cameras, such as Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Collision Alert, and Smart Breaking systems etc. are an important safety features that need to be re-calibrated afterwards to insure proper function.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems require proper calibration performed by trained professionals in order to work properly. Calibration brings the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems back to the original manufacturer’s specifications. Proper calibration is essential since the front-facing cameras are displaced during a windshield replacement.
There are two types of calibrations - Static and Dynamic. The required process varies depending on the vehicle. A certified technician performs the required calibration with specialized equipment specific to the vehicle on site.

We use a high-pressure tool to apply a special resin to the damaged area. This resin is designed to fill the crack or chip, restoring the integrity of the windshield. The type of resin used can vary, but it is typically a clear, strong polymer that bonds with the glass.
Windshield chips of all sizes need to be repaired. If ignored, even a tiny chip or crack can grow or take on water, potentially fogging the windshield and obstructing your vision.
